In this Project Exhibitionist beginner guide, I cover everything I need to know to get started, including game modes, wanted posters, NPCs, clothing, collectible items, maps, body paint, and transportation. I also explain how to use the smartphone, unlock new locations, travel longer distances, and avoid getting caught by NPCs or the police.
Complete Beginner Guide – Game Modes, Items, Maps & Gameplay Tips
Story
I play as Cial, a woman who enjoys exposing her body in public.
My main goal is to travel as far as possible, with a minimum distance of 100 meters.
I walk around the city without clothes and occasionally perform poses in front of NPCs. However, I need to escape quickly before getting caught!
How to Start the Game
Choose a Game Mode on the PC
I interact with the PC in my room and select Run Modes >> Classic to start the game.
Unlock Other Game Modes
Classic is the starting mode for beginners. I need to reach Level 50 and travel at least 2,000 meters to unlock Free Mode and Long Way Home.
Early Levels
The early levels are relatively easy. There are fewer NPCs, and the stages take place at night. This makes it easier to avoid NPCs’ lines of sight and stay hidden.
My Wanted Posters
NPCs can assign a severity level from 1 to 5, depending on how much clothing I don’t have. The severity is measured by the number of items remaining.
Some NPCs cannot tolerate this behavior and may call the police!
NPCs can also take photos of me, which may later appear on Wanted Posters displayed throughout the city.
Wanted Poster Actions
I can destroy, collect, or relocate Wanted Posters found throughout the city.
Steam Achievement: I need to destroy a total of 100 Wanted Posters to unlock a Steam Achievement.
How I Avoid Getting Caught
If I expose myself in front of NPCs too many times without escaping quickly, they may take pictures of me.
Sometimes, I may encounter a friend NPC. In this situation, I can use Expose to show my adult side to my friend.
However, I should not repeat this action too many times. I need to run away immediately afterward!
If I stay for too long, the police may arrive and arrest me.
How I Use the Smartphone
I press and hold the designated key to take out my smartphone.
- Zoom In/Out: I hold Shift and scroll the mouse wheel up or down to adjust the zoom.
- Camera: I zoom in until an arrow pointing toward the camera appears.
- H: I switch between video recording and photo modes.
- T: I set up the camera tripod.
- Spacebar: I record a video or take a photo.
- 1 / 2: I switch between different poses and facial expressions.
Trash Cans, Items and Clothes
Trash cans I use as hiding places. I also search them to find random items.
Dropped items have different rarities, indicated by their colors. These include items that can be held in front of the body, R-18 items, clothes, and more.
Once I discover an item, it gets unlocked. Whenever I find a trash can, I make sure to search it immediately so I don’t miss any collectibles!
Wearing Clothes
Reduce Heart Rate
Wearing clothes lowers my heart rate. Outfits that cover serious parts also help reduce NPC suspicion.
Blend into the Crowd
Ordinary and inconspicuous outfits make me look less suspicious to NPCs. Wearing clothes allows me to walk among crowds, but the effect duration depends on the outfit’s rarity.
Rarity & Duration
The higher the rarity, the longer the effect lasts. Gold-rarity outfits provide the longest duration.
How to Obtain Clothes
I can find clothes inside trash cans. Once I return home, the collected clothing items will also be unlocked for future use.
Adult Toys
These items can only be obtained from trash cans. The items I find are random, so it depends on luck.
Adult Toy 1
I hold the right mouse button while carrying the adult toy to place it on the floor or wall.
After placing it, I approach it and select one of the available poses from 1 to 5. I press F to collect it.
Adult Toy 2
After placing the Adult Toy 2, I can turn its vibration function on or off.
Adult Toy 3
I can use this toy by standing near a wall.
There are also many other items available to discover!
Maps
I need to visit each main location 3 times to unlock Fast Travel.
There are currently five available locations:
- University
- Stadium
- Shopping Mall
- Art Gallery
- Swimming Pool
I can access Trip Setting through the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Here, I can check and change different game settings and manage my Inventory.
Items found in trash cans and different locations are unlocked and become available for future playthroughs.
How to Unlock Undiscovered Locations
To unlock locations I haven’t discovered yet, I need to complete Long Way Home mode 3 times at each location.
After completing it three times, Fast Travel to that location becomes available, allowing me to travel there quickly in future playthroughs.
Body Paint
I need a Custom Body Paint Pen to use the body paint feature.
Body paint slightly delays the time before NPCs become suspicious of me. However, its effect is temporary. The paint gradually fades and eventually disappears.
I also need to be careful around water and rain. If I enter water or get caught in the rain while wearing body paint, it will wash off. NPCs will then discover that I am naked!
Shop
Vegetable Section
There are four types of vegetables available in the shop, including eggplants and cucumbers. I can sneak into the shop and steal them.
How to Steal
I sneak into the shop quietly, choose one item, and steal it.
Heart Rate & Movement Speed
I can insert the stolen item into either the front or back. This raises my heart rate to an average of around 150, but also slows down my movement speed.
Unlocking Items
Once I collect an item, it gets unlocked. I can check it in my PC inventory under Maps.
How to Travel Long Distances Quickly
Long-Distance Travel Basics
Traveling as far as possible is important, but walking is quite slow.
There are two ways to cover distances more quickly.
1. Usable Vehicles
I can use different vehicles and equipment, including:
- Bicycles
- Electric scooters
- Skateboards
- Rollerblades
The remaining usage time is displayed in the upper-left corner of the screen. It decreases as I move, and the item disappears when the timer reaches zero.
2. Hitching a Ride on a Moving Car
I can jump onto the roof of a moving car or secretly cling to the underside of the vehicle.
However, this method only works for a short time and a maximum distance of 200 meters. The driver will notice me quickly, so I need to get off before getting caught!
How I Hide
Staying hidden is important. I can crouch, crawl, lie flat, take cover behind walls, or hide inside trash cans to avoid NPCs’ lines of sight.
If NPCs stare at me for too long, I will get caught!
1. Change Your Posture
I press C to enter posture selection mode.
I hold C and select the posture I want to use. I can crawl on all fours or move while lying flat against the ground.
2. Take Cover Behind a Wall
I move close to a wall and press Spacebar to take cover.
3. Hide in a Trash Can
I press F to hide inside a trash can.
4. Hide in a Dumpster
I press E to hide inside a dumpster.
