In this guide, I’ll show you the locations of all 29 notes in the game. I’ve listed them according to each level, along with simple instructions to help you find every note without wasting too much time searching around. If you’re trying to collect all the notes and don’t want to miss any, this guide will help you find them all.

All Notes Locations Guide

Hospital

Number of Notes on Map: 1

Note №1

The first note is very easy to find. After getting the wrench, look at the metal gate to the right of the stairs. You will find the first note hanging on the gate.

Hospital 2

Note №2

The second note is also easy to find. After activating the switch, enter the building that the firefighter runs out of. Go to the second floor and head down the left corridor. Enter the office and look for the note lying on the table.

Note №3

The third note can be found inside the building you enter after taking the elevator down. This is the same building where you need to find the car keys. The note is lying on the table next to the keys.

Kolhoz

Number of Notes on Map: 1

Note №4

After leaving the Barn and continuing through the story, you will encounter an old man with a shotgun who runs out of a small house with a Soviet flag. Kill him, enter the house, and look for the note lying on the table.

Kolhoz 2

Note №5

After speaking with the old man and making your way through the sewers, you will need to take an elevator up. Once you reach the top, look to the left of the exit. The fifth note will be lying on the ground.

Factory

After jumping out of the hopper car, look inside the small room to the right. You will find the sixth note inside.

After passing the conveyor belt and the conveyor carrying molten metal, continue through the basement until you climb back up. The seventh note will be lying on a shelf to your right.

Factory

After going down the escalator and passing three monsters, enter the small maintenance room. You will find the eighth note lying on a box.

Old City

After exiting the sewers and encountering the old men with shotguns, you will reach the stairwell of an apartment building. The ninth note will be lying on the floor.

Note №10

After making your way across the balconies, head down until you reach a wide street. Look to your right, where you will find the tenth note hanging on the wall next to the entrance to the archway.

Totalitarianism

The eleventh note is easy to find. It is lying on the ground directly in front of the level entrance.

After exiting the corridor, you will reach a wide street. Head to the left side of the buildings and look for the soda machine. The twelfth note will be on the machine.

Totalitarianism 2

After climbing out of the window onto the main square, look for the statue of Lenin. You will find the thirteenth note on the statue.

City Council

After fighting your way past the NKVD officers and getting caught in a trap, you will enter Beria’s office. The fourteenth note is lying to the right of the desk.

Tram

After leaving Beria’s office, look straight ahead. The fifteenth note will be lying on the ground in front of you.

After passing through the archway, continue forward and cross the bridge. Look for a passage on the left. You will find the sixteenth note inside.

Note №17

When you reach the area in front of the bridge, turn right and go down the stairs. At the bottom, look straight ahead to find the seventeenth note lying on the ground.

Yards

As you make your way along the street, head downstairs and pass through the basement. You will find the eighteenth note next to a bench on the right.

Note №19

After passing through the first yard where you found the eighteenth note, look at the metal gate on the left. The nineteenth note will be attached to it.

Continue through the yards until you reach the bottom, where the gate is located. The twentieth note will be hanging on the wall next to the gate.

Cinema

When entering the cinema, look at the door on the left. The twenty-first note will be attached to it.

Go up to the second floor of the cinema and find the Projection Booth. The twenty-second note will be lying on the table next to the keys.

After picking up the keys, unlock the metal gate and continue forward. You will find the twenty-third note lying on the ground.

Before reaching the escalator where you need to take out the enemies, look at the wall on the left. The twenty-fourth note will be attached to it.

As soon as you step out of the train, look straight ahead. The twenty-fifth note will be lying on the ground in front of you.

As you progress through the level, you will come across a small maintenance room. Enter it and look for the twenty-sixth note lying next to a key.

Opera

When you reach the stage in the opera, look to your right. The twenty-seventh note will be lying on the floor.

Near the end of the level, you will come across a small room. Enter it and look for the twenty-eighth note lying on the floor.

Depots

Number of Notes on Map: 1

The last two levels, Depot and Depot 2, do not contain any notes.

Note №29

The final note can be found near the end of Depot 3. Look for it attached to the wall next to the train you are preparing to leave on.
