In this guide, I show you the locations of all the hidden Gnomes in each level, along with screenshots to help you find them easily. Some Gnomes are out in the open, while others are hidden behind walls, bushes, and secret paths. Just follow the locations below, and you should be able to find them without wasting too much time searching everywhere.
All Gnome Locations Guide – All Levels
Level 1
In the large open village area with the first guard, you can find the Gnome out in the open, down and to the left.
Level 2
Gnome 1: In the first room to the left of Barnaby, head straight up. You should find a hidden path on the left.
Gnome 2: In the last room along the left path from Barnaby, look for a small shadow along the wall. This is the hidden path leading to the Gnome.
Gnome 3: Follow the path to the right and then down from Barnaby. In the room after the river, look for a small shadow on the right that leads to the hidden path.
Gnome 4: In the room with the rope to the right of Barnaby, go up and around the small lake to find the Gnome.
Gnome 5: After Barnaby gives you the key, open the door and head up and to the right. Look for a dent in the wall that leads to the hidden path.
If you’re following the evil route, DO NOT kill Barnaby, as this will end the level. If you accidentally kill him or complete the level, you can press Alt + F4 on the results screen to get the Gnome.
Level 3
Gnome 1: In the room where you follow the spy, check the bottom-left corner. There’s a dent in the wall with darker grass that marks the hidden path.
Gnome 2: In the room with Hushrooms in the river, look above the last Grub. There’s another Hushroom that leads to the Gnome.
Finding the Hushroom is easier if you bite, as this makes the most sound. If you accidentally wake up a Grub while playing pacifist, stand still until it falls asleep again. Grubs are blind and rely on sound to find you.
Gnome 3: In the room where you get the Silver Key, head straight down underneath all the mushrooms to find the Gnome.
Level 4
Gnome 1: After helping Glurk cross the river, head up and to the right. You’ll find the Gnome in the corner.
Gnome 2: In the room with the helmet, push or pull the circled box out of the way. The Gnome is hiding behind it.
Gnome 3: In the room that requires a Gold Key, check the bottom area. The dark grass marks the hidden path leading to the Gnome.
You can also find this path on the good route when Thora shows you the secret path up in the room to the left of the Hollowseed room.
Gnome 4: In the room to the left of the Hollowseed room, check the bush in the top-left corner to find the Gnome.
Level 5
Before reaching the cave with the Ram, head left towards the room transition. The Gnome is on the other side.
Level 6
Gnome 1: Before entering the room with Glurk, head to the right. The Gnome is sitting out in the open.
Gnome 2: At the start of the maze, head down and to the left. Look for a dent in the wall that leads to a hidden path where the Gnome is waiting.
