In this guide, I show where I find all 12 jigsaw puzzle pieces, starting from the Common Room and continuing through Research & Development, the Prototype Room, and the Hub balcony. I follow the locations in order and include screenshots to make each puzzle piece easier to find.
I have organized every location by area so you can collect all 12 pieces and complete the puzzle without missing any.
Pieces #1–3 – Common Room (The Hub)
I find the first three puzzle pieces in the Common Room, also called the Hub.
I go to the small table with the half-finished jigsaw puzzle. All three pieces are lying directly underneath the table, making them easy to collect.
Piece #4 – Common Room (The Hub)
I find the fourth puzzle piece on the dining table in the Common Room.
I look for the table with cakes, test tubes, and a notepad. The puzzle piece is sitting next to these items.
Piece #5 – Research & Development
I find the fifth puzzle piece in the Research & Development area.
I enter the two-story room with two key card slots, which later connects to the Prototype Room.
I go underneath the second floor and check the laboratory counter to the right of the entrance. The puzzle piece is sitting on the counter.
Piece #6 – Research & Development
I find the sixth puzzle piece in the same Research & Development room.
I go up to the second floor and look for the small cabinet just to the left of the stairs.
The puzzle piece is inside the cabinet.
Piece #7 – Prototype Room
I find the seventh puzzle piece on the left ceiling fan inside the Prototype Room.
I take the elevator to the first platform, although I can also reach it by parkouring up.
The player with the hook can grab the puzzle piece directly from the fan without stopping it.
The cube player can also block the fan first, but this is not necessary.
Piece #8 – After the Prototype Tutorial
I find the eighth puzzle piece after completing the Prototype tutorial.
Once I finish the tutorial, I enter the small room and pull the lever together with the other player.
I then go through the door and check the table to the right of the entrance. The puzzle piece is sitting on it.
Piece #9 – Common Room (Return to the Hub)
I find the ninth puzzle piece while returning to the Common Room.
From the table where I collected piece #8, I go through the door on the left and climb the stairs.
At the top, I find several boxes. I look for the box with a hard hat on it.
The puzzle piece is right next to the hard hat.
Piece #10 – Room Before the Monorail
I find the tenth puzzle piece in the room before the monorail.
Important: I do not pull the dual-handled lever in the center of the room before collecting the remaining pieces. Pulling this lever locks the door leading back to the Hub / Common Room, where the jigsaw puzzle is located.
I climb to the second floor using the route shown in the screenshot.
Once I reach the second floor, I look to the left and find a computer panel in front of the locked Control Room.
The puzzle piece is sitting on top of the computer panel.
Piece #11 – Common Room (Hub Balcony)
I find the eleventh puzzle piece on the Hub balcony.
From the same floor where I collected piece #10, I go through the door leading to the balcony.
I look to the right and find a computer with a small cabinet to its left.
The puzzle piece is located near the cabinet.
After collecting it, I stay in the same area because the final puzzle piece is nearby.
Piece #12 – Common Room (Hub Balcony)
I find the twelfth and final puzzle piece from the Hub balcony.
After collecting piece #11, I turn around to face the Common Room.
I look up toward the ceiling lights and find the final puzzle piece.
The piece is already collected in the screenshot, but its exact location is marked.
Conclusion
After collecting all 12 jigsaw puzzle pieces, I can return to the Common Room and complete the puzzle.
Completing the puzzle does not unlock an achievement. However, the developers have included a small surprise for longtime fans of the series.
Finding every piece can take time, especially if you miss one of the pieces hidden in the later areas. Following these locations makes it easier to complete the puzzle without searching every room again.
