I find several hidden weapons throughout RIG Riot, with each one unlocking a different weapon when collected. Some are easy to spot, while others are hidden under platforms, behind objects, or in harder-to-reach areas.
In this guide, I show where I find every hidden weapon in RIG Riot and what each one unlocks.
RIG Riot All Hidden Weapon Locations
I start with the weapons found during the tutorial and firing range sections.
There From The Start
“Find a weapon while learning the ropes.”
I continue through the tutorial level until near the end. In the back right corner, below a platform, I find the weapon sitting on the ground. Collecting it unlocks Straight and Narrow.
Down Range
“Find a weapon that is closer than you think.”
I head to the firing range and look near the top of the skybox, just above the extraction pad. I use some good boosters to reach it and collect the weapon. This unlocks Sunshower.
We Got Encaged!
“Find a weapon somewhere cagey.”
I start in Bandit Cage Match and take a hard right from the spawn point. I continue to the opposite end of the area and find the weapon below a collapsed building. Collecting it unlocks the Propagator.
Cut Corner
“Find a weapon that was dropped en route to its destination.”
I head to Corporate Crossroads and look in the back corner of the map. The weapon is sitting at ground level, making it fairly easy to spot. Collecting it unlocks Rainstorm.
Box Cutter
“Find a weapon that failed to provide an escape.”
I start the arena and look in the militia holding cell. Relative to where I spawn, I find the weapon hidden behind the back right pillar. Collecting it unlocks the folding blade.
Precarious Situation
“In The Wastes, find a weapon stored alongside some things it should definitely not be near.”
I turn around from where I spawn in The Wastes and head toward the small village area. At the back, I find four explosive barrels. The weapon is hidden just behind them. Collecting it unlocks the KRS Plasma Cannon.
For Safekeeping
“In The Facility, find a weapon stashed out of sight, just in case.”
I head to the opposite side of the ground level from where I spawn in The Facility. I find a long road with a ramp at both ends. I go underneath the far side of the road, opposite the wall, and find the weapon hidden there. Collecting it unlocks the Energy Revolver.
Lost In Transit
“In The Prison, find a weapon that was not packaged securely in transit.”
I look around the section of The Prison where I spawn, which is the lowermost circle on the map. I find a pile of cargo boxes with three stacks of long crates in front of it. The weapon is sitting on top of the cargo boxes.
Collecting it unlocks the Armageddon.
Busted
“In The Guts, find a weapon below the beaten path.”
I head to the second-lowest platform on the map. Behind the large pillar, I find a small platform with the weapon hidden on it. Collecting it unlocks the Mega Launcher.
Overwhelming Power
“In The Nexus, find the weapon of somebody who tried and failed.”
I continue through The Nexus normally and complete all the major objectives. I then head to the center of the map and complete the boss fight.
After the light show, the weapon drops onto the ground from the small rig I fight. I collect it to unlock the Siege Cannon.
